Mural pricing begins at a minimum of $1,500.
What’s the process?
Phase 1: Research Phase
This phase includes: phone calls, in-person or zoom meetings, information sharing, and community
input sessions.
During this phase we gather info, stories, ideas, photos, textures, patterns, history, and dreams for the future that will ultimately inform the final design.
Phase 2: Design Phase
This phase is where the artist creates 1-3 design options to share with client
The initial designs take 3 - 4 weeks
In this phase, typically 2 rounds of edits can be made to the design
Upon finalizing the design, the artist and client will sign a contract which will go over timeline, payment, installation terms, intellectual property rights, documentation/use of information, safekeeping of property, etc.
Phase 3: Painting the Mural
If we made it this far it’s smooth sailing from here!
The wall will need to be prepped and primed before the artist begins
If client is unable to - this will be an additional fee
When the wall is primed and ready the artist will begin painting the mural
This can take anywhere from just a few days to multiple weeks or months depending upon the size, detail, and accessibility.
The artist uses Golden Mural Paint (see product info section for more detail).
After the artist has finished, the client and artist will walk through the mural together, making sure the mural aligns with the original design.
Any major changes in this phase will be an additional fee.
Once the client approves the mural, the artist will seal the mural with a UV and Graffiti Resistant Varnish (see product info section for more detail).

FAQs
-
Typically if the wall is in good condition and prepped well the mural should stay vibrant and in good condition for up to 20 years.
-
Upkeep is only necessary on exterior walls that might get scuffed or dirty due to salt, snow spray, exhaust fumes, etc. In these cases, the surface of the mural can be wiped down with a gentle dish soap/water solution and soft sponge.
-
The budgets vary according to many factors; level of detail, size, accessibility, levels of community involvement, dimensions of the wall, interior/exterior, and equipment/materials.
